Drop Off and Pick Up Lane

Vehicles must use the student drop off/pick up lane. It is a One Way lane. Enter on Kentucky and exit on Southern.

Vehicles must pull to the curb on the right-hand side of the lane. Students must exit right to the curb and not in the traffic lane.

The adults do not exit the vehicle in the drop off/pick up lane to help children exit the car, walk children to the sidewalk, or to the school.

Once your children have left or entered your car your vehicle may leave the curb and go forward and exit on Southern. Pay attention to the school staff members who are directing traffic for the safety of all Emerson children.

Parking Lot

If you choose to park your vehicle, you may park in the parent parking lot that enters and exits on Southern St. No children will be allowed to walk unsupervised to or from your parked vehicle. Parents must walk children to and from the school building.

Children may not be dropped off or picked up from the west side of Georgia St. If you are picking up a student in your car, you must use the official pick-up/ drop-off zones as described above.
